2. What personal data is being processed
We process the following categories of personal data in the course of our business activities and proper provision of services as well as preparations, discussions or business initiation as well as the data received from the third parties within the framework of the legal guidelines:

6. Legal basis for passing on to third parties

8. Storage period of personal data

GeekSoft Consulting adheres to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. Therefore, the personal data of the data subjects are kept only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated in Chapter 2, to fulfill the respective provision of services, or as long as provided for by legislation or statutory retention periods.

After expiration of the time limit provided by the legislator or after expiry of the corresponding purpose, the personal data are routinely deleted as long as they are no longer required to fulfill the contract or to initiate a contract.

The retention periods vary in length and are usually a period of 6 (manuals for lawyers) to 10 years (accounting documents, manuals for auditors) in justified individual cases even longer. If the personal data object is of different retention periods the longest period applies.

The hypocrisy over the provision of personal data is solely with the data subjects.

9. Rights of the persons concerned
In accordance with the applicable data protection law and in accordance with Articles 12-23 of the DGSVO, data subjects have the following rights vis-à-vis the person responsible for the processing of personal data.
9.1. Information about recorded, stored or processed data

The persons concerned have the right to request information from GeekSoft Consulting at any time as to which personal data has been recorded, stored or processed by the person responsible (Art. 15 DGSVO).

The right to information can be restricted in cases where the information should disclose confidential information.

9.2. Correction
Should the personal data stored by GeekSoft Consulting be incorrect, the data subjects have the right to demand the rectification of these data without delay from the responsible person according to Art. 16 DGSVO. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, the data subject has the right to request the completion of incomplete personal data, including by means of a supplementary statement.

II Processing of personal data on the website and legal bases
10. General information

You can use our online services without providing your personal information, as no registration is required. We generally do not collect sensitive information unless it has been voluntarily disclosed to us. This website is hosted by the service provider GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC. The collected data are stored on the servers of the service provider in the data centre in Europe and are protected according to the standard data protection guidelines and DGSVO compliant.
